MARCH 2010 NEWSLETTER
Dear Costa Diamante Property Owners:
Wonderful news!
We have finished the guard shack. We have received compliments from many people; including others who live nearby in other developments. The new guard shack is equipped with a local phone which you may find useful in the future. The number is 382-8006. It is requested that you provide us with your local phone for our security personnel to have on hand in case of emergency.
Also, we have started the landscaping of the common areas. The section between “G” and “A” is almost done. The section between “B” and “C” will be started as you read this letter. The section between “C” and “D” is complete as is the section between section “D” and Las Palomas. Each section is complete with its own separate irrigation system and water tank and a one HP pump. Solar lighting was installed on the walkways to illuminate the pathways for night time walks. The same lighting will be used to improve that common area that was finished last year.
The month of March was busy in Costa Diamante. Most owners visited the area during what is typically one of the better months of weather. Also the owners who rent their houses had renters during the same period. There were two separate incidents where strangers were using the houses in the beachfront without permission. Our security personnel found and resolved the problem without incident. Most people are presently doing so, but to assist us with this recurring problem, it is suggested that you contact us via e-mail or phone to let us know if you are going to be having someone use your home in the future while you are not there
It should be noted that, during the Easter weekend, some people abused the rules of the development with regard to noise, fireworks and vehicular speed. The Board has the item on its agenda to find a solution to the problem which continues to peak during Easter week. It is the hope that the Board may find a resolution so that we may all enjoy the peace and tranquility that we desire in our neighborhood.
Attached, you will find the March 2010 financial report for Costa Diamante HOA.

In closing, I would like to address an issue that continues to affect us all. It is imperative that we remain current with our association dues. Also, it is essential that we pay our landscape assessments when due. Prior to the first invoice being sent, there was a schedule set up with the landscaper to start and finish each area. The first area should have been by now and the second assessment will be sent out this week with the hope of starting the next phase without interruption. This can only be done if we send in our payments when the invoice is due.
